Job Summary
The Diesel Engine Pump Technician is responsible for disassembling fuel injection pumps, injectors (including common rail injectors), and turbochargers. The role involves inspecting internal components to determine whether they can be reused, cleaning and reassembling components, and testing and calibrating them to meet factory specifications using state-of-the-art tools and equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum of two years of mechanical experience or completion of a two-year diesel technology program.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Basic computer skills.
Willingness to learn; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Position Requirements
Ability to work in a rebuild service shop environment involving solvents, oils, and other related materials.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic presses, and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds.
